Software integration
Keep data moving between your tools.
Do your teams copy the same information into several tools or prepare files to move it from one to another? We connect your software to transfer and update the data you need, with validation rules and monitoring for each exchange.
The data flows we set up
When your teams bridge the gaps between tools.
A customer record, a case or a status needs to move from one application to another. We define what information to exchange, when to send it and how to handle discrepancies.
An approved customer record has to be recreated in another tool.
Transfer information without entering it twice
A connection retrieves the required data, converts it to the expected format and creates the record in the receiving application.
An address changes, but other tools still show the old one.
Keep updates in sync across your software
Changes are sent to the relevant tools, using the source of truth defined for each piece of data.
The same files are prepared and corrected every week.
Organize recurring imports and exports
We structure these exchanges to check formats, transfer usable data and flag the items that need correcting.
Your indicators rely on several applications.
Bring together the data your reporting needs
We organize data collection and mapping to feed your reporting tool at a frequency that suits how you use it.
Beyond transferring data, you can also link actions together: assign a request, seek approval or trigger a reminder. Explore process automation.
Our method
Start with your workflows and your software’s capabilities.
The data flows we can build depend as much on how you work as on the interfaces your tools provide.
Understand
We identify the tools involved, the information currently transferred and the manual steps your teams perform, along with the frequency your business needs.
Define
We review APIs and file exchange options, access rights, formats and expected data volumes. We determine what triggers the exchanges and how often they run. Scope, deliverables, budget and a provisional timeline are defined before development begins.
Build
We develop the connection and test exchanges against representative cases: creating and updating records, receiving the same item more than once, incomplete data and transfer errors. These tests check the agreed rules and recovery behavior.
Go live
We prepare the activation of the data flows, status monitoring and error handling. Access, responsibilities and handover materials are defined so the integration is ready to operate.
Frequently asked questions
Can any software be connected?
The possibilities depend on the available interfaces, access rights and software vendors’ terms. Some features may require a specific option or subscription. An initial review establishes which exchanges are possible and where the limits lie.
What if an application has no API?
We review other available ways to exchange data, including file imports and exports. Their suitability depends on the data, the required frequency and the checks that can be performed. If the options are too limited, we may need to rethink the data flow or adapt the tool.
Will data sync in real time?
That depends on your needs and the software’s capabilities. An update triggered by each event can help track an operation in progress, while a scheduled transfer may be enough for reporting. We define the frequency based on data volumes, acceptable delays and interface limits.
What happens if a transfer fails?
We define the approach during scoping: retain the information needed to diagnose the issue, make the failure visible and plan for an automatic retry or human intervention as appropriate. Recovery takes data already sent into account to avoid creating duplicates.
How is this different from process automation?
Integration lets applications exchange information. Automation organizes a sequence of actions: assign a request, seek approval or trigger a reminder. A project can combine both, for example by transferring an approved request and then starting the next processing step.
